Democrats Cook the Books for ObamaCare

Has anyone yet noticed the proposed "Health Care Reform" (aka government ran universal health insurance) doesn't start for 3 years, yet all the cost accounting estimates has the US taxpayer paying for 10 years?  So while the current program doesn't start until 2013, the cuts to Medicare and the tax increases start now.   These are the stipulations that the Obama administration and the Democrats in congress put upon the Congressional Budget Office in calculating the cost of the program for the first "10 years"   So we pay for 10 years and receive only 7 years of "benefit".    To the Democrats credit, this is not the first time Washington Politicians have used this account method.  As reported by the Associated Press:

"Under the Democratic bills, federal tax credits to help make health insurance affordable for millions of low- and middle-income households won't start flowing until 2013 — after the next presidential election. But Medicare cuts and a sizable chunk of the tax increases to pay for the overhaul kick in immediately.

"Lawmakers use a 10-year accounting window to assess new programs. Starting the Medicare cuts and some of the taxes in the early years — and pushing the bulk of new spending into the latter years — helps keep the cost of the health care overhaul within Obama's $900 billion limit. Bush used the same kind of maneuver to push the Medicare benefit through Congress."

I don't believe I need a crystal ball to predict that in 3 years Congress will need to revise the program substantially and it will end up costing more while providing less.
