Racism in America

If you don't believe that a government run and public funded health insurance plan is a good idea, or that permitting insurance companies to compete across state lines is the best and most cost effective method of promoting competition then you are a racist. I'm watching The Situation Room on CNN, and that's pretty much their lead. I usually like James Carville, but saying that Joe Wilson can't help being a racist because he's from the South is very sad. The left has no response suitable to defend the criticism against their plan. The best they can do is attack their critics as racists.

Peter Roff, from US News and World Report:

"Obama may claim the House proposal—the only substantive piece of legislation yet assembled and made available for public scrutiny—doesn't make care available to illegal immigrants, won't eventually lead to care being rationed by bureaucratic government entities and doesn't provide for public funding of abortion but there are plenty of responsible, smart experts on healthcare including quite a few doctors who say it does. And plenty of plain, ordinary folks who have read the bill say it does too."

Of course you may have heard that by Friday after the President's speech, Democrats managed to add language to the bill that actually would prohibit the government from providing health insurance for illegal aliens. Unless you watch CNN of course, because I don't believe they reported that.

South Carolina has a long list of dignitaries that includes Lauren Caitlin Upton (Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant contestant), Board of Education Chair, Kristin Maguire, Governor (and avid Appalachian hiker), Mark Sanford and now Joe “the hater not a debater” Wilson or the “screamer not the dreamer” as others have dubbed him. I did enjoy him cut and running through his apology, which only goes to show that he stands for nothing. He is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. So long Joey, you too will be seeing the unemployment lines.

While your comments are directed more at Joe Wilson personally, rather then the issue of liberals having no defense other then attacking critics as racists, thank you for reading and your comments.
